This may be something we bring up in monthly meeting but I felt as though it could not wait, especially with her coming to the office tomorrow. Laura Stomber has been incredible on future offices. In the 4 years here, I have never seen someone take on a task, as daunting as inheriting future offices and simply crush it. The effort level shown in responding to all of the very needy sponsor’s questions while being polite, helpful and having an amazing customer first attitude. We got hit with a major blow when losing the 2 spex reps who oversaw all of these accounts. I thought this would be a monumental task to overcome with a month left. We then lost our operations manager. Laura came in with a rock star attitude and worked extremely closely with me to make sure we covered all of the sponsors. She did whatever she could to instill confidence into the sponsors, that they were being taken care of. She has also been dealing with the insane rules and regulations of our beloved New York hotels and has pulled off some note worthy budget maneuvers.
She took on a major task that could have ended in a nightmare and was a monumental help to me and I want to make sure it gets recognized somehow, even if it is simply recognizing her tireless efforts on the side when she is in the office tomorrow

Laura Stomber or as I call her, Detective Stombs, is one of the hardest working and most driven people that I have ever met. Laura never stops working and is constantly coming up with new ideas or tools to help make our jobs more efficient and easier for everyone. She is not satisfied with the unknown so when she sets her mind to figure something out, she goes at the problem like a detective until she finds the answer. She also does all of this without being asked because this is just how Laura is. She truly cares about the people around her and takes it upon herself to find the answers to our unknown questions in order to reduce our work stress and ease our workload.
